I hadnt seen anything posted about Matt Boggs. But a month ago he became sick and went to the hospital. It ended up being more serious than originally thought. He had surgery yesterday at Ruby Memorial in Morgantown. He made it through the surgery and other than some pain associated with it he is feeling ok. But, he has a long road ahead of him. He could really use your thoughts and prayers. He enjoys fishing the MOV tournaments and he and his dad have done what they could to help. If I can I will try to get his address, I'm sure he would love to hear from some of you guys.

Just an update on Matt. First, I got the ok from his family to post this. Matt had a tumor removed from his liver on wednesday. The took out a good portion of his liver in doing so. He has been moved from the ICU unit to a step down room. He is in good spirits but has a long road ahead. If anyone would like to send a card the address is Ruby Memorial Hospital 1 Medical Center Drive P.O. Box 8059 Morgasntown, WV 26506. I'm sure he would like to hear from you all.

Saw Matt today. He was very appreciative of the card from what he called his "family." He is doing quite well for what he has gone through. His father assured me that Matt would be fishing with us in the spring in his favorite tournaments, the ORBT. His liver is already showing signs of growing. Matt still has a long way to go with upcoming chemo and healing but his future is bright. I mentioned the benefit tourney in the spring to Matt and Rodney. They were so thankful we are thinking of them. As I am working at Ruby Hospital this week and next, I will keep updates coming as long as they are OK with it.
