With the leaders not fishing last night it gave some teams the opportunity to catch up on the number of tournaments fished so far which tightened up the angler of the year race. Rick Beaver and Eric Parsons now have a 19 point lead over Todd and Logan Nichols with Stan Bailey and Stan Bailey Jr. not far behind.
Note:
1. Rick and Eric have a low score so far of 30. Todd and Logan have a low score of 23. You know both teams are looking to cull those scores.
2. The Baileys have only scored 7 tournaments to this point but notice they all have been in the 40's. It will be interesting when all the teams start getting their points for their best 10 tournaments.
